We collect only what we need to match parents and tutors:
- WhatsApp phone number — the number you message us from, used to communicate with you.
- Role — whether you are a Parent or a Tutor.
- Location — the area or location you share, used to find matches within approximately 5km.
- Messages — the content of the messages you send us through WhatsApp.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- match Parents with nearby Tutors and vice versa;
- communicate with you about your request or registration;
- process any applicable payment through our payment provider; and
- operate, maintain, and improve the service.
3. How we share your information
When we make a match, we share relevant contact and location details between the matched Parent and Tutor so they can arrange lessons. We also share limited information with service providers who help us operate, including the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta) for messaging and a third-party payment processor for payments. We do not sell your personal information.
4. WhatsApp Business Platform
Our messaging runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta. Messages you exchange with us are also processed by WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Meta's and WhatsApp's policies to understand how they handle your data.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with our legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we are required to keep.
